By using the iTero Scanner, we can create a digital map of your mouth. Using those images from the scanner, we can create crowns, bridges and surface in-lays for you. This technology helps us perform procedures in a precise manner, while eliminating the need for inconvenient alternatives that can otherwise be bothersome to patients.

Traditionally, impressions were taken using large metal trays and liquid plaster placed against the upper and lower jaw. These impressions were both time consuming and uncomfortable. Patients were often concerned with the danger of gagging or swallowing the excess plaster.

With the iTero Scanner, our patients do not have to endure any further discomfort or anxiety while we take their impression. The entire activity is conducted digitally, eliminating the need for the liquid plaster. Patients can also view the images from their can on an in-office computer display. The technology is much more convenient than the old method of plaster and trays and has been found to be even more accurate.
